Prince Saud Al-Faisal passed away

Prince Saud Al-Faisal, one of the most significant political figures to had ever been brought up in modern Middle East, died in one’s bed on 9 July at age 75. Having served for 40 years and acted as Saudi Arabia’s ambassador, thus concentrating on international diplomacy, reported Al Jazeera.

He was a person of reputation, particularly for his cleverness, as Secretary of State John Kerry had this to say: “Saud was not only the longest-serving foreign minister, but was also one of the wisest.” Not to mention his long-term political achievements as foreign minister. According to Secretary-General of King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue Faisal Al – Muammar, “His record has been full of national achievements in global politics and gave the Kingdom a privileged position in the field of international relationships built on respect and appreciation.”
